Under this condition, it not only reduces the transmission power level of nodes, but also reduces the number of collision, thus energy consumptions of nodes can be reduced. In this paper, bases on the protocol interference model, we propose edge interference capability, that is, the number of nodes that can interfere the endpoints of one edge when the endpoints communicate along the edge.
In the future, we will study a trade-oﬀ between the number of single dominator and the amount of interference generated in the network. We will contributes to construct a better topology with minimum interference which is beneﬁcial for improving the performance of WSNs. Although a protocol based on the physical interference model has better behavior in a practical scenario, the physical interference model tremendously increases the complexity of the design of protocols. In the future, we will improve our algorithms based on the physical interference model, then we obtain topology controls with better performance in a practical scenario.
